motherhood: catch

This morning I took Bam Bam to the pool before his morning nap.  He loves going to the pool; it is perfect for a refreshing toe dip!  I busy myself with demonstrations of cannon balls, pencil dives, blowing bubbles and hand stands while he laughs and claps from the sideline.  Bam Bam loves to throw, so luckily we have a dog that lives to play fetch.  Tank wasn't at the pool with us today though, so Bam Bam was stuck with me :)  We threw and caught, and caught and threw until the water looked briefly appetizing to him!  He laughed every time I hit him with the water-soaked ball and I did tricks as he threw it to me.  One thing I love about motherhood is a hearty game of catch.

this is the stance I get whenever Bam Bam is ready for the ball... someone's been watching too much softball!
